Cleaning Contracts – Health and Safety
Brightday Cleaning Services are committed to safe working practices for all our cleaning contracts.
Clients will receive all relevant documentation prior to start of cleaning.

We take great care to ensure that any risks are kept to a minimum for our staff and your employees or visitors should our cleaning operatives be working during operational hours.
Prior to any office or commercial cleaning contracts starting we carry out risk assessments and produce method statements which will be monitored and reviewed periodically.
Our cleaning operatives are trained in the correct use of cleaning products, their storage and uses.
COSHH – (Control of Substance Hazardous to Health) Data sheets relating to each product used will be left on site in a prominent and agreed area for ease of access.
In addition you will receive copies of:
- Risk Assessments
- Method Statements
- Environmental Policy
- Health and Safety Manual
- Client/Cleaning Staff Communication Log
- Attendance Sheets
- Copy of Insurance Policy (Updated annually)
- Emergency Contact Numbers
- Documents bound in a presentation folder clearly marked for identification.
All cleaning staff are trained in the use of colour coded cleaning equipment in line with guidance set by the British Institute for Cleaning Science in order to prevent cross contamination between areas.
